The Life of S. of God Adolph of Strasbourg, Martyr, First Order (m. 1632) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Jan 8. Adolph was born in Strasbourg, Germany and was martyred during the 30 years war. There were miracles associated his body and tomb.
