Wise Detachment from the World – Nov 24 – Homily – Fr Ignatius

 

Fr Ignatius gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Nov 24, 2021, on how the Holy Spirit will give us wisdom to speak what is needed when it is needed and a sign of this wisdom is whether it mentions the need to be detached from things of this world so that we can be attached to things of God. This is exemplified by the prophet Daniel, St Francis, and by St. Andre Dung Lac and his companions who gave up their lives as martyrs in Vietnam.
