The Life of S. of God Pamphilus of Magliano, Confessor, First Order (1824-1876) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Oct 31. Pamphilus theologian and professor in Rome. He went to the USA in North East, setting up St Bonaventure University and a new province of the order. He went to Rome and recorded what happened and what the order has done in ts history.
Reflection is on true heroism which forms great memories, the greater the suffering the greater will be the glory of their memory heaven.
Degrees of heroism, the greatest is to be silent in evil times, when one's character is attacked.
Like Christ who could have defeated all his enemies and confounded his detractors, but instead set an example for his disciples.
