The Life of Bl. Angelo of Acri, Confessor, First Order (1669-1739) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Oct 30. Angelo tried entering the Capuchins three times before he prayed fervently prayed for the grace to persevere. He preached missions to great effect after praying for the grace to overcome deficiencies in memory. He was given the gifts of miracles and to read people's hearts.

Reflection is on the signs to identify the works of God which include the encountering of many difficulties.
