The Life of Bl. Contardo Ferrini, Confessor, Third Order (1859-1902) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Oct 20. Contardo was born in Milan, Italy studied Law, and became a professor despite anti-Catholic prejudice. He was also a scholar of the Bible and spread the faith wherever he went, practicing a devout life.
