Fr Terrance gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Oct 05, 2021, on how Martha was too anxious about her duty to the law of hospitality when she should be focused on Jesus, whereas Mary was following the higher law of love of God, following the principle of flexibility. Law is not the end but a means to sanctity, to God. This applies even to our prayer life, when we should follow a structured prayer and when to let God take control.
