The lives of St. Elzear and Bl. Delphine, husband and wife, Third Order (d. 1323) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Sep 26. St. Elzear and Bl. Delphine were a pious husband and wife of the nobility, who lived in full chastity, and worked for the poor and the rest of their subjects, and were given the gift of miracles, with many occurring after their death as well.
Reflection is on holy serenity, maintaining calm in difficult situations, which is based on a close union with God. Is a foretaste of heaven, and is secured by trusting in God, focusing on the example of Jesus
