The Life of Bl. Peregrin of Falerone, Confessor, First Order (d. 1232) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Sep 12. Bl. Peregrin of Falerone was a nobleman who was highly educated but became a Franciscan lay brother and his humility laid the foundation for his great holiness, which lead to much edification of those who met him and many miracles before and after his death.

Reflection is on devotion to the Way of the Cross which is an excellent expression of our gratefulness for the Redemption, the passion, and death of Christ, which inspired Bl. Peregrin to go on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land where Jesus made the original way of the cross.
