The Life of St. Pius X, Pope, Third Order (1835-1914) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Aug 21. St. Pius X joined the third order, started some local chapters. He promoted eucharistic devotion and frequent communion and support of Catholic Communication and press of his time.
