Beware of YouTube Bishops – Jul 30 – Homily – Fr Terrance

 

Fr Terrance gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Jul 30, 2021, on how "Catholic" YouTube personalities are presenting themselves as authority figures as if they are bishops and lead people away from the Church even setting themselves up as infallible interpreters of the faith.

He compares these Youtube personalities to Tertullian who was a brilliant intellectual force in the early Church, but prideful, and died outside the Church along with his own following. Will the current followers of these personalities realize that they are being led out of Church before it is too late?

There is hope for them and not everything that they say is false but becomes clear after a certain point that the Holy Spirit is not the spirit that is guiding them.
