Fr Terrance gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Jul 28, 2021, on the parable of the treasure buried in a field, which tells that sin hides us from God but He is searching and when he finds us he sells all he has to take hold of us, becoming a man and dying an ignominious death to pay for our ransom. In a sense, Christ is like Superman whose one weakness is Kryptonite and we who are hidden, crypto, in sin are His Cryptonite where His divine charity induces him to weaken Himself for our sakes.
