The Life of Bl. Archangel of Calatafimi, Confessor, First Order (1390-1460) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Jul 28. Bl. Archangel of Calatafimi was a humble hermit then the pope ordered all hermits in his order to enter a convent. He was then ordained a priest, established a friary in Sicily and performed many miracles.
Reflection is on the importance of retreats and solitude where God can speak to them and grow closer to him. Can absorb better the truths of the faith and live by them, repenting from past sins and so prepare to enter heaven.
