Conservatives and traditionalists tend to:
1.  Liturgical strictness
2 Criticism of the hierarchy
3 Fault-finding, focusing on what is wrong

For liberals and progressives tend to:
1. Embrace crass worldly values
2. Minimizing doctrinal and moral teaching
3. Absolutizing social doctrine

Unites the social doctrine with doctrines regarding morals and faith including:

- The right to life
- Religious freedom
- Marriage between one man and one woman
- There are just wars, so no pacifism

Belief and behavior need to go together whether we are talking about morals or social concerns; otherwise, we become hypocrites.
