Also May 13th is the Feast of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament:
The month of Mary is the month of blessings and grace for as St. Bernard, in company with all the saints, assures us, all grace comes to us through Mary. The month of Mary is a continuous festival in honor of the Mother of God, which prepares us well for the beautiful month of the Blessed Sacrament which follows it.
Truly let us rejoice since Mary brings us the Bread of Life. From the day of her birth we salute her as the aurora of the Eucharist, for we know that the Savior of mankind will take from her the substance of that Body and Blood which He will give us in the adorable Sacrament of His love.
Let us be true servants of the Blessed Sacrament as Mary was. (Yes!) all for the service of Jesus Eucharistic in union with Mary!
