Ave Maria Meditations
Although most of us cannot attend Holy Mass and receive Our Lord in Holy Communion and, indeed, many are even denied the sacrament of confession at this time so we might wonder how best to observe this marvelous Solemnity with so many graces attached to it. Well, God does not ask the impossible! He knows we are denied these sacraments at this time. So we turn to Him with great trust and sorrow for our sins. That trust is so precious to the Sacred Heart of Our Lord.

Jesus: I Am love and mercy itself…My mercy is greater than your sins and those of the entire world…I let My Sacred Heat be pierced with a lance, thus opening wide the source of mercy for you. Come then with trust to draw graces from this fountain. I never reject a contrite heart. Sooner would heaven and earth turn into nothingness than would My mercy not embrace a trusting soul…
St. Faustina: I fly to Your mercy, compassionate God, who alone are good. Although my misery is great and my offenses are many, I trust in Your mercy, because You are the God of mercy, and from time immemorial, it has never been heard of , nor do heaven or earth remember that a soul’s trusting in Your mercy has been disappointed.
Jesus, Friend of a lonely heart, You are my haven, You are my peace. You are my salvation, You are my serenity in moments of struggle and amidst an ocean of doubts…You are everything to a lonely soul…You know our weaknesses and, like a good physician, You comfort and heal…
