Our Lady Revealed the “Secret” of Her Identity at Lourdes – Feb 11 – Homily – Fr Andre

 

On the memorial of Our Lady of Lourdes (Feb 11, 2020, Tuesday of the Fifth Week in Ordinary Time), Fr. Andre reflects on the significance of Our Lady’s apparition at Lourdes, France, in 1858. Father shows how Our Lady’s indispensable role in salvation history is illustrated through a proper understanding of this revelation. Through St. Bernadette, Our Lady confirmed her identity as the Immaculate Conception, gave a message of penance and the Rosary, gave rise to a sacred shrine favored with healing waters, and ultimately, draws all who visit the place closer to Her Son, as Our Lady continues her role as Coredemptrix and Mediatrix of All Graces.
