Many Men Generate and Destroy Their Own Children “Unawares” – Feb 04 – Homily – Fr Andre

 

In the homily for Tuesday of the Fourth Week in Ordinary Time (Feb 04, 2020), Fr. Andre compares the sins of David, for which he paid a heavy price, to the sins of men today—a great majority of men who engage in promiscuous behavior under the “protection” of artificial contraception, often generate children “unawares,” whom they neither know nor love. Due to this blindfolded approach to paternity, they allow their children to be destroyed through the use of abortifacient contraceptives, paternal abandonment, and active procured abortion. This wide scale, grievous sin is producing an increasingly inhospitable culture of death. David repented of his sins—are men today even cognizant of theirs?
