Sin is No Good – Jun 12 – Homily – Fr Matthias
Views 915
In the homily for Wednesday of the Tenth Week of Ordinary Time (Jun 12, 2019), Fr. Matthias debunks the dangerous new theology derived from the false premise affirming positive aspects of sinful actions. Departing from today's Gospel (“Whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven.“ - Mt. 5:19), Father affirms the contrary: “There is nothing good about sin.”
Providing the correct teaching on sin from the perspective of Catholic moral theology, Father offers several practical ways we can derive benefit from this truth, both personally and for the Church in crisis.
