Parents: “The hour is coming” – May 27 – Homily – Fr Andre

 

In today's homily (Monday of the Six Week of Easter, May 27, 2019), Fr. Andre relates Our Lord's warning in the Gospel to the present day: "They will expel you from the synagogues; in fact, the hour is coming when everyone who kills you will think he is offering worship to God."

Schools that are Catholic in name but secular in teaching can kill the souls of the children entrusted to them. Parents have a responsibility to proactively demand fidelity to Catholic principles, in word and in action, from Catholic schools, and should be prepared for the backlash.
