Misery & Mercy – Apr 07 – Homily – Fr Terrance
Views 1156
Fr Terrance gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Apr 07 on how the readings of this the Fifth Sunday in Lent focuses on mercy and hope with the account of the woman caught in adultery. He points out that root of the word mercy is misery and then describes the misery of the Pharisees on the one hand and that of the sinful woman. Jesus demonstrates how to use religious authority to cover the shame of the sinners and bring them back to God and how we can do the same.

Thank you Fr. Terrance; Misery and Mercy beautiful! Love all in FranciscanFriars. No Doubt The Love of GOD is with you All! / To ALL: Read only Father/s: For some reason, I could feel the persecution of Our Lady this Lenten just like in the Sermon. But IF all know that Jesus is Lord and GOD; then, they would have not persecuted the Blessed Lady in their gossips during those times. / IF today all knew; focus on: ” JOHN 17:3″ that said Lord Jesus is GOD! “…that they may know The [Heavenly Father] the One True God “AND” Jesus Christ Whom You had sent.” The Father and I are One. / And if they had believe that Lord Jesus is the True Messiah; then, the Blessed Lady is a Virgin; and because the Jewish Prophesy said: “The Messiah can only be born of a VIRGIN”. The Blessed Virgin is the Only One Who could see the Most Holy Spirit in His True Form of Beauty and Majesty; that She was in love of His Beauty and Majesty; and it is impossible for Her to love another. Virgin is like or is Pure Love. / I saw the Picture of Most Holy Trinity with the True Form of the Most Holy Spirit [He and Our Lady are Facing Each Other] at Catechism of St. Thomas Aquinas; drawn and painted by a Nun who showed it to me in Colors. / Man can sometimes see a ghost with a face and shape of man/woman without body; therefore, the Most Holy Spirit was seen by the Lady in Form of Spirit of a Man of Beauty and Majesty.
