Cain’s Hard Heart and the Culture of Death – Feb 18 – Homily – Fr Alan

 

On President's Day (Feb 18), in a Mass of Thanksgiving for the Gift of Life, Fr. Alan reflect's on how today's reading from Genesis offers an insight into the culture of death. Cain, the first murderer, committed his crime after hardening his heart to God's message of hope. Likewise, today, the growing evil is due to the hardness of man's heart and his refusal to repent and be converted to Christ's Gospel of Life.
