Ave Maria!
Dr. Mark Miravalle gives the eighth talk titled "Mary Coredemptrix: Remedy and Relevance for Our Time" at the Marian Coredemption symposium at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, La Crosse, WI in 2018 on how fitting it is to proclaim the dogma of Mary as Coredemptrix given the nature of the difficulties of our age and how it is a proclamation of our Catholicity.
He synthesizes the concept of Marian coredemption as he gives a history of scripture, saints, doctors and popes who used the term and the concept. He then answers common objections, and then gives several examples of approved Marian apparitions that give confirmation of this doctrine and even call for the proclamation of it as a dogma. He suggests that Coredemption is only controversial because it is central to what we are as Catholic, namely it quintessentially involves intersession for others and redemptive suffering, where Mary exemplifies these as perfectly as a purely human person can through grace.
