Church Reform: Learning from St. Bridget – Jul 23 – Homily – Fr Matthias

 

In the homily for the memorial of St. Bridget, Religious Foundress, (Jul 23), Fr. Matthias explains that it is useless to see the need for reform in the Church but do nothing about it. Though few have as large a sphere of influence as did the great reformer, Bridget of Sweden, everyone is nonetheless obliged morally to at least pray for needed reform. We can all work to make it happen in our own sphere of influence: in our family, workplace, parish, diocese, etc.
