Ascension – May 13 – Homily – Fr Ignatius

 

Fr Ignatius gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on May 13 on how Jesus Ascended at Mt. Olivet into heaven in full splendor forty days after the Resurrection. This points to the day of Pentecost and to our own resurrection. Jesus who is human as well as God is already there, having led the way. So we have much hope that we too may enter heaven.
