The Problem of Presumption – Jan 11 – Homily – Fr Ignatius

 

Fr Ignatius gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Jan 11 on how we can not presume on God's help when we are not being faithful. He uses the biblical example from today's reading where the Isrealites brought the Arc of the Covenant into battle to defeat the Philistines but this instead resulted in a resounding defeat due to their sins that they were not willing to amend. Let us hope but not presume.
