Oct 30 – Homily – Fr Dominic: God Seeks Us First

Jericho is a symbol of the world of sin that will be destroyed at the end of time, and as Jesus passes through, He invites Himself to the infamous Zacchaeus' home. This shows us that, though we tend to speak of seeking God, it is primarily God that seeks us. Jesus gave Zacchaeus hope, hope to escape the bleakness of sin and reform his life, a hope that brings with it the power of God. In evangelization, we need to spread this hope by the love in our lives, being an example of the God that seek us before we seek Him.
