Homily #151005b ( 02min) Play - Fr. Elias on the message of mercy of St. Faustina Kawalska and how it relates to  the first reading where Jonah received mercy from God even though he was disobeying God's will; and the Gospel reading on the good Samaritan who showed mercy to the man attacked by robbers when the Jewish religious leaders would not. We need to be merciful to others and ask for God's mercy and to go to the sacraments of the Church which are the channels of God's Grace and participate in the year of Mercy proclaimed by Pope Francis which will start on December 8th, 2015, the Solemnity of Immaculate Conception of the Mother of our merciful God.
