Homily #150809b ( 19min) Play - Fr. Alan explains the nature of faith, that it is virtue of practiced, habitual ascent of the mind to the truths of Christ. This requires grace from God and our own human effort which involves prayer for more grace. This virtue is the opposite and antidote to the vice of doubt, the mindset of willful resistance to the truth.
