Fra Solanus reviews Virgo Facta Ecclesia, written by Franciscans of the Immaculate and published by the Academy of the Immaculate. This small book (c. 170 pages) tells us about the life of St. Francis of Assisi and his Charism – which is, of course, a Marian charism. The book is essential reading for all Franciscans, whether religious or lay (including the Secular Franciscan Order). The video was filmed on location in Toodyay, Western Australia, at the summit of a hill close to our house (a flock of song birds joined us next to the camera!)
