Jul 04 – Homily – Fr Louis Maximilian: The Children of Mary Receive God’s Blessing

Homily #150704m ( 18min) Play - God the Father blesses as His sons (and daughters) only those who, like his Son Jesus, live as children of Mary, their Most Holy Mother. God recognizes them as His sons (and daughters) through the grace of adoption not because of their own merits but because they have been clothed with the merits of Jesus and Mary. The way to win our Father's Heart is through humble submission and obedience to Mary, His Son's Mother and ours. However, we must always remember that in accepting Mary as Our Mother and consecrating ourselves entirely to her, we are also accepting the reality that our trials and sufferings are sure to intensify, because Satan has a special hatred for Mary and those who are her children. Although in the eyes of the world the children of Mary seem to be lost and confused amidst their trials and sufferings, in the eyes of God they are most blessed and will be constantly supported by their Mother.
