Homily #150419l ( 10min) Play - Our Lord compares Himself to the Good Shepherd, who risks His life to save just one wandering lamb, subject as it were to the terrible persecution by the wolf - and this is in fact what Our Lord did; allowing Himself at the appointed hour to be condemned unjustly (as St. Peter remarks) precisely that He might save all the wandering sheep.
