Feb 03 – Homily – Fr Maximilian W: Faith and Miracles

Homily #150203n ( 04min) Play - Father comments on the Gospel, telling us that it presents two miracles and the great faith with accompanied them. Also, today is the memorial of St. Blaise who, as he was being led away to be martyred, miraculously healed a young boy who had a fish bone stuck in his throat. It is this incident which is remembered when the Church offers us the blessing of throats where we ask to be protected from illness through the intercession of St. Blaise.
