Dec 11 – Homily – Fr Elias: Sts. Damasus and John the Baptist

Homily #141211b ( 13min) Play - Fr. Elias on the life of Pope St. Damasus who, although was one of the first popes to not be martyred, went out of his way to promote the veneration of the martyrs.  One of these martyrs is St. John the Baptist who is mentioned today in the readings and is central to this time of Advent that looks forward to the coming of the light of Christ.
