Sep 15 – Homily – Fr Matthias: “Allergic to the Coredemptrix?”

Homily #140915n ( 17 min) Play - Today, many Catholics suffer from a spiritual "allergy":  they fear to give Mary the title of "Coredemptrix".  Fr. Matthias comments on how this may stem from an over-exposure to Protestant viewpoints and from a simple lack of humility in approaching the mystery of Mary.  What is the "antihistamine", if you will?  We must seek to acquire a healthy Marian Maximalism, basing our convictions on the teachings of the Popes, the doctrine of Sacred Scripture, and the testimony of the saints.  Then, we should put what we have learned into practical use, imploring the grace to suffer with Christ and Mary, to become "co-redeemers" with them, for the good of the whole Church.
