Jul 02 – Homily – Fr Maximilian W: Swine Or God?

Homily #140702n ( 06min) Play - Fr. Maximilian reflects on today's Gospel reading and shows that the Gadarenes preferred their swine business, which was contrary to the Law, to the presence of Jesus in their midst. And then Father asks us if we do the same. He encourages us to, instead of refusing to make sacrifices for God, to search for ways to make sacrifices and prove our Love. Are we willing to sacrifice and pray for ourselves and sinners? We must keep in view that the goal is not worldly gain, but eternity with God in Heaven.
