Homily #140530 ( 13min) Play - The Lord remembers his covenant. Through the Blessed Virgin Mary's fiat a new covenant is established. She communicates Jesus by act and by word. The divine has chosen to act through a created being. God's mercy is extended through the person and actions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In the coming feast of the Visitation we see this reflected with St John the Baptist leaping with joy in the womb of Elizabeth as she is filled with the Holy Spirit upon the arrival of Mary bearing Jesus.
