May 16 – Homily – Fr Elias: Saints of Many Stripes

Elias notes that there are many saints who have their feast day today, including St. Margaret of Cortona, St. Simon Stock, and St John Nepomucene and that the Lord says in the Gospel that there are many places he has prepared for us in heaven. Based on this he tells us that there are many different types of saints and reminds us that we too can become saints and should strive to do so.
