Maximilian points out that one of the conditions for the replacement of Judas was that he must have witnessed the Resurrection, for without that, all of what we believe is nothing. And this Resurrection is a call for us to lay down our own lives in love for our fellow men, witnessing to the Truth by a life of daily fidelity and generosity. We have all received this call to holiness, this is what life is all about, let us unite ourselves to the Lord.
