Matthias takes the opportunity to reflect over martyrdom, emphasizing that we still live in an Age of Martyrdom, and that not only Catholics are being martyrs, but all Christians. Using a phrase from Pope Francis, "Ecumenism of Blood," he suggests that the growing persecution of Christians will forge paths towards unity.
