Homily #140504n ( 11min) Play - Father Joachim comments on the homily, showing that it was not when the Lord opened explained the teaching of the scriptures to them that the disciples recognized Him, but in the "Breaking of the Bread." Father asks us whether we have intellectually given assent to the truths of the Faith, but even more importantly, do they effect and change our lives? Do we spend more time with the Tabernacle or the Television? When we recognize Jesus in the Breaking of the Bread, and come to Him, He will change our hearts.
