Homily #140430n ( 05min) Play - In today's Gospel, Jesus reveals Himself as the Light come into the world, and the One who saves us from the darkness of sin. Today we also remember St. Pope Pius V, who implemented the reforms of the Council of Trent, which in a special way defended the Mass and Confession. These are the two great means by which we are set free from sin. Let us put off the works of darkness and, by the means of Confession and Mass, open ourselves to the Light of Jesus.
