Homily #130918b ( 13min) Play - Fr. Elias on the life of St. Joseph Cupertino and the extraordinary phenomena of his ability to levitate when he went into ecstasy which he did whenever he looked at a holy image or heard words on God or the saints. Father explains the reason that God gives these gifts and how we should not seek them but rather seek humility, keep detached from things of this world and continually lift up our hearts to God even if our feet remain planted on the earth.

I did not know about Our Lady taking the Saint to the holy house of Loreto! It just shows how the Immaculate will satisfy some of the deep longings of a holy heart. And that holy house was where Fr. Stefano Manelli was inspired as well in regards to the Franciscans of the Immaculate.
