I’m happy that today the Church celebrates the great St. Bernard of Clairvaux! I a great admire and devotee of him.
I love your homily, father; specially when you said St. Bernard can be a great example of mortification/penance for the men/the human beings nowadays. This time of total insanity due to desesparate seek of richness and pleasures is a world fell into a hurricane, is a world consumed by the fever of lust… May God have mercy on us!
St. Bernard, pray for us!
Dear Friars, Could I share with you the link of the Cistercian Abbey of Our Lady of Assumption in Brazil? (Nossa Senhora da Assunção de Hardehausen-Itatinga). It is a wonderful abbey where is lived the same spirituality that St. Bernard lived in the abbeys of his time.
