Pope Francis leads the procession from the basilica of St. John Lateran to that of St. Mary Major on Thursday.
Pope Francis led his first Corpus Christi procession along the streets of Rome. For about 45 minutes, thousands of pilgrims walked along with him, with the Blessed Sacrament before them. The procession began at the Basilica of St. John Lateran, where the Pope celebrated Mass. He talked about the Eucharist and about solidarity.
