Homily #130215b ( 07min) Play - Fr. Joachim on the importance of fasting in the season of lent. Fasting is for doing penance for sins and to mortify the flesh. But he says there is an effect even more important, the true goal of fasting, to focus less on the flesh an more on  the spirit and the heart, less on self an more on God and being charitable to our neighbor.
