Great homily! I love it!
I’m a great admire of St. Thomas Aquinas. Some time ago I have written a prayer to him. I would like to share it with you all, dear Friars. I translated it from Portuguese into English. If some part of it is written in a bad English, please let me know.
A Prayer to St. Thomas Aquinas
O very gracious Angelic Doctor, St. Thomas Aquinas!
God has conceived to you a very big intelligence,
That you used to serve Him, showing to us that we musn’t
Have presumption of our human intelligence, but
Recognize it as a gift of God
and being grateful to Him because of it,
and through it and by through the faith,
being in communion with God.
We call this sanctification of our intelligence.
Please, help us to sanctify it and grant us
Through Christ’s Passion, death and resurrection, [ask the favour that you wish]…
