Master Sargent Mike Cutone gives his conference on Catholic Leadership going through the acronym L.E.A.D.E.R.S.H.I.P. as he has outlined in his book. In this segment he is on "I" for "Initiative". Doing simple things to to show charity to others, anticipating future crises and problems, and be constantly prepared to develop better solutions to accomplish your mission. Jesus gives us an example of this by taking the initiative in calling the Apostles to collaborate in His redemptive mission and by His leadership in prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane while the Apostles slept.
