Another wonderful homily. We all fall short-isn’t it wonderful that Our Lord forgives our brokenness? Mohamad Ali’s famous words, “There’s no shame in being knocked down to the canvass. The shame comes in not getting back up!” How wonderful that Jesus has given us the gift of confession where we can not only recieve forgiveness but we can also find healing. Then we can go out and offer forgiveness to those who have so cruely judged or hurt us.
Praise be Jesus Christ that we are so small and so stupid. If we weren’t so small and so stupid, we wouldn’t need so great a God.
