Homily #100207 ( 14min) Play - In today's Gospel we see St. Peter being Peter, that is, he has the best of intentions and yet is very imperfect in carrying them out. He wants to obey when Our Lord asks him to set out for the deep in his boat, and does, but he complains first, only to see how unworthy he is when Our Lord manifests his holiness with the miracle of the great catch of fish. Fr Angelo compares this to the first reading of Isaiah where Isaiah sees the holiness of God and knows he is unworthy to be His messenger and the need for God's gift of sanctification to be made worthy.

Is Fr. John Joseph still there? I have not seen a homily of his since about December.
