09min) Play – Today we celebrate the feast of the Miraculous Medal (1830). Originally called the “Medal of the Immaculate Conception”, this sacramental comes directly from the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our Mother. It is not only highly venerated and promoted by the Franciscans of the Immaculate, but has become an integral part of their habit, devoutly worn over their hearts.
Father John Joseph encourages us to wear the Miraculous Medal, wear it worthily, and to live our lives showing that we want to be children of our Immaculate Mother, united with Her will and the will of Her Son.
